I am a single parent raising a 10-year-old son. I do rely on the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line as a safe and enjoyable place for my son while I am at work.
The club has great programs and is a godsend to many working parents. Like all nonprofit organizations, the club does struggle financially, not only to keep its doors open, but also to offer a variety of programs.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Scott Seidel and Dana Sapp Seidel, owners of ACE Towing, for their continued support of nonprofit organizations in our community.
Old derby cars and other junked cars may be donated to the Boys & Girls Club through Pacific Steel and Recycling. This program would not be possible without the selfless community service provided through the Seidels at ACE Towing who pick up these donated cars and deliver them to Pacific. After the donated cars are processed, Pacific Steel and Recycling donates a portion of the profits back to the Boys & Girls Club.
We all know there are many hidden costs in operating the tow trucks and delivering these cars from the donor to the recycling destination. None of these costs are reimbursed to ACE Towing.
The Seidels have always been strong community supporters and this is just another one of the many ways they give back to their community.
Kudos to the Seidels and to Pacific Steel and Recycling for their support of the children of our community.
