The Havre Daily News today launches its Election 2010 series on candidates and issues on the Nov. 2 ballot.
Senior journalist Tim Leeds will profile candidate for state legislative seats from Hi-Line districts and contested races for Hill County offices. They will appear on Page A3 every day.
Reporters from the University of Montana's Community News Service will provide stories on races for Congress, Montana Supreme Court and the Public Service Commission, as well as stories on initiatives on the ballot.
The stories are designed to provide readers with information on the candidates and what they stand for.
The Havre Daily News will conclude its election coverage with a handy pull-out page on Friday, Oct. 29. It will have an easy-to-read summary of the candidates and issues that people can study the weekend before the vote or take with them when they vote on Nov. 2.
