Local residents are invited to hear Montana Democratic party leaders and legislative candidates talk about their plans for actions in the 2011 Legislature for job creation when the Democrats bring their Job Opportunity and Business Strength tour to Havre.
State Democrats have been touring the state, meeting in different towns to talk about their plans for job creation.
The Havre meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Bio-Energy Innovation and Testing Center at the Applied Technology Center on the Montana State University-Northern campus.
In a press release promoting the tour, the state Democratic party said its plan, intended to help business grow and help Montana to be at the leading edge of the national economic recovery, is available online at www.montanajobstour.org.
The release said much of the focus at the Havre stop of the JOBS tour will be on making sure the state continues to have a workforce trained in cutting-edge technologies and provides adequate resources to its academic institutions.
