Thanks for domestic abuse fundraiser participants

The District IV HRDC Domestic Abuse Program held a spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday, Oct. 9. The event was a fundraiser for The Haven, our local domestic violence and sexual assault shelter, which is in need of a new stove, dishwasher and refrigerator.
The dinner and auction were a huge success due to the generosity of our community. Everything, from the auction items to the food that was served, was donated. This allowed us to put on this event at no cost to our program and making the whole night a complete profit.
Many community members came and enjoyed the night. The Domestic Abuse Program would like to thank everyone who came to our event in support of our program. We would also like to thank all of the businesses that gave generous donations for our auction.
A huge thank you goes to the 5th Avenue Grind, Radio Shack, Bear Paw Meats, IGA, Barkus Home Center, Creative Leisure, JM Donovan, Norman's Ranch and Sportswear, Glassworks, Doll's Glass, The Coffee Hound, Great Northern Inn, AmericInn, Physical Therapy Down Under, Montana State University-Northern's Athletic Department, ENELL, Catholic Daughters, Altec Graphics, Tropical Stop, Herberger's, Big Sky Images & Collectibles, Maurice's, New Wine, Julie's Hallmark, Sweet Temptations,  Aaron's, Grateful Bread, High Plains Gallery, Kris Shaw, Mary Nault, Independence Bank, Eagles Club, PJ's Restaurant & Casino, Elite Tan & Salon, Golden Belle, Top Hat, Dollar Zone, Holiday, Tire-Rama, Valley Furniture, T. Wayne Koepke, Subway, TownHouse Inns, Sherwin-Williams, NAPA Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Northern Showcase, Lelok Travel, Pro Build, H-O Parts, Helmbrecht Photography, The Athlete's Foot, Midwest Diesel and The Petal Pusher.
We would like to give special thanks to the Eagles Club who allowed us to use the facilities at no cost and gave very helpful advice.
The Domestic Abuse Program would also like to thank Gary Peterson for putting in so much time helping us get everything set up, Randy Cloninger for getting us more items at the last minute, and Bonnie Bennett for being so giving of her time and helping us clean up after the dinner.
Thank you to the Havre community for being there when we needed your support.
