Hansen is qualified, regardless of politics

To the Voters of House District 33:
As a lifelong Democrat, I am now going outside party lines to support Kris Hansen for House District 33 representative and believe your support will give Hill County an excellent representative in the upcoming Legislature.
When Gov. Brian Schweitzer chose a Republican running mate for lieutenant governor, he went outside normal politics to endeavor to provide a well- qualified individual to serve Montana.  I believe supporting Kris will provide for the best qualified person for the Legislature. She is, regardless of politics, an excellent candidate.
Kris has a very broad range of experience to take with her to the Legislature.
She is an active member of the Montana National Guard and served a year in Iraq as a JAG attorney, serving soldiers and their dependents, as well as handling other military legal matters.
Kris has the knowledge and background to serve Montana military and veterans' conerns with empathy and understanding. She has practiced Montana law as a private attorney before becoming the Hill County Attorney chief deputy.
It is through this position when I was clerk and recorder that I came to know Kris and greatly respect her ability and ethics. Kris was always honest, accessible, open-minded and responsive to our needs. I believe she will carry those qualities with her to the 2011 Legislature. She needs your votes to send her to Helena to serve you.
