Be proud to be a Democrat
Editor:
The Republican Party is desperately trying to bad-mouth the current Democratic politicians, blaming them for wasted money spent. Do they forget who the big spenders are and how they helped start a war that was not needed (the only time the U. S.A. started a war)?
Trillions of dollars were spent, more than 4,000 young soldiers were killed, 40,000 got their arms and legs shot off for a war that should never have been.
Now, the Republicans are critical of everything that is invested in our country to get our economy going again. Stimulus money is being invested on infrastructure in Montana and other States. A new bridge was built near Bynum along with a waste water treatment facility close to Dutton and a new fire hall at Fairfield, hydrants and sewer lines were replaced and improve ments were made to City Hall in Choteau. There was $3,236,486 invested in Teton County for improvements.
Other states and their counties in the U. S.A. are seeing the same improvements. Isn’t this a better investment than investing tax dollars in bombing other countries? Democrats, be proud of all the investments that have been made by your leadership in the great U.S.A.
