City crews deserve credit for helping out
Editor:
Automatically, I took for granted the pick-up of garbage by the sanitation department, as you probably have.
I did until my neighbor put a pickup truck full of garbage all around my dumpster. I couldn't believe what I saw. Dogs and cats were even going through it. This looked like what you see on TV in a big city. I called the Public Works Department and that worker sent a garbage truck over and within a half-hour, they had picked it all up. So when you see a garbage truck, wave and give the thumbs up in appreciation for the excellent job they do unrecognized.
