One last road trip stands between the Montana State University-Northern volleyball team and a strong finish to Frontier Conference regular season.
Tonight, the Skylights (4-6, 11-9) are in Lewiston, Idaho for a match against the No. 11 Lewis-Clark State Warriors (11-0, 17-1), and MSU-N will play at Westminster College (5-5, 11-13) on Saturday night in Salt Lake City.
"These are two tough matches, and it's always a daunting road trip," MSU-N head coach Bill Huebsch said. "But we are going into the trip with a lot of momentum and we want to continue to build on it. We want to play better than we did the last time we faced these two teams, and that's our main goal, to play well so that we can keep what we've done the last two weeks going."
Northern was swept by the Warriors and Griffins last month in Havre., but after home wins over UM-Western and UGF the last two weeks, the Skylights head into their final road trip with plenty of confidence.
MSU-N will play LC State tonight at 8 and Westminster on Saturday at 5 p.m. Northern closes out the regular season next Friday against Rocky Mountain College and Saturday against Carroll College, with both matches taking place at the MSU-Northern Fieldhouse in Havre.
