Warburton will
cross the aisle when necessary

If you are like me, then you find that it can be very difficult to sort through the list of political candidates when often times the only thing that we have to go by are ad campaigns and propaganda. Sometimes it would be nice to have verification from outside sources regarding claims that have been made. Please allow me to present you with just that. Most people who have been paying attention, should know by now that Rep. Wendy Warburton stands solidly on her support of the sanctity of human life, support of gun rights and creating a better atmosphere for business.
My personal experience with her has shown me that she is also willing to consider matters on a case by case basis and go against her party if necessary. I approached Wendy during the last legislative session regarding a soon to be voted on bill that had to do with protecting the interests of small farmers against large agri-business entities; namely Monsanto. She was well aware of the bill.
It had been introduced by another representative that could not be farther across the political aisle than she. This bill was being opposed by some very large and powerful agri-business groups, one of which endorses Wendy's candidacy. Needless to say, this would naturally be a bill that any good politician in her position would have voted against. Wendy however, took the time to listen to my explanation of the issue at hand and the reasons why I thought that it was a good bill. I left that conversation not knowing if she would vote for or against this bill, but she assured me that she would take the matter under consideration.
I learned later that she helped to get the bill through the house by voting in favor of. I know that this could not have been an easy decision for her to go against her own party. This experience has shown me however, that she has the discipline to consider the greater good in any matter. It has shown me that she has the ability to act upon sound judgment, regardless of the political protocol. I appreciate the work she has done in Helena on our behalf, and I hope that you will help me in retaining her as representative for House District 34.
