The Montana State University-Northern men's basketball team secured an important Frontier Conference road win Friday night in Butte. The Lights held off the Montana Tech Orediggers 67-61 to improve to 2-0 in league play.

The Lights are 13-4 overall heading into Saturday's game at UM-Western in Dillon.
