The Montana State University-Northern men's basketball team fought off a tough effort from the University of Great Falls Argos to pick up a 68-52 Frontier Conference win Saturday night at the MSU-Northern Fieldhouse.
The Lights broke open a defensive struggle by going on a 15-3 run early in the second half. They also shot a solid 12-of-25 from the 3-point-line and held the argos to just one three. Devin Jackson poured in 20 points for the Lights (5-3, 16-7) and Shaun Tatarka added 17. Northern plays host to UM-Western and Montana Tech this weekend.
