The Chester/J-I Hawks won their second straight District 10C championship by beating Valier 46-34 at the 10C girls tournament Saturday night in Conrad. The C/J-I boys took third in the 10C boys tourney in Conrad, but won't be able to challenge for a spot in the Northern C because Dutton-Brady finished second and the Diamondbacks already beat the Hawks in the 10C tourney.
The Rocky Boy boys also suffered a setback Saturday night as the Stars lost to Shelby 58-47 in the District 1B championship game in Cut Bank. Rocky Boy still advanced to this week's Northern B tourney in Malta. The Rocky Boy girls season came to end after a loser-out loss Saturday morning in Cut Bank.
At the 2B tourney in Malta, the Harlem girls won a loser-out game Saturday morning and will advance to the Northern B girls tournament in two weeks. The Harlem boys lost a heartbreaker in the loser-out round Saturday morning, ending the Wildcats season.
