Blaine County officials are warning county residents that flooding could be hittng eastern Blaine County in the Harlem area early next week.
“With the steady warming pattern, the Milk River is projected to reach flood stage at Harlem on Tuesday morning, April 12, ” Blaine County Commissioner Vic Miller said in a release this afternoon.
Miller said, as a precaution only, residents are urged to use their best judgement as they approach areas. Rising water should be monitored, and conditiond could be reported to the counte Disester and Emergency Services office at 357-3310, the county commissioners office at 357-3250 or the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office at 357-3260.
People in an emergency situation should call 911.
Residents living at lower levels and near water should take necessary precautions, Miller said.
