Norma E. Braaten, age 86, passed away in Missoula, Mont. on May 25, 2011. Norma was born March 18, 1925, in Hallock, Minn.
Norma married Arnie Braaten June 10, 1948, in Kalispell.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Gina Moen; brother, Gordon Moen; sister, Ruth Kolden; and husband, Arnie Braaten.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Moen; sister, Helen Moen; sons, Gordon (Jan) Braaten of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Gary (Larissa) Braaten of Spokane, Wash. ; daughter, Helen Braaten of Arlington, Wash. ; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A special thank you is extended for the care given at Pleasant View and to Hospice.
Visitation for Norma will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011, from 4 till 7 p. m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11 a. m. at the Exposition building at the fairgrounds. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
