The government of Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation has updated the status of flooding on the reservation.

All main roads are open, although Sandy Creek Mountain Road and Fresno Road are closed.

People are urged to stay away from swollen creeks and streams, and to monitor children to make sure they do not go near creeks and streams. Recreational activities, such as hiking, fishing and camping, have been prohibited.

People are urged to not drive through water running across a road, a statement from the tribal council said.

Rocky Boy Health Board clients who have flooded driveways should call the clinic for medication refills, and the medications will be delivered.

Reservation residents are advised to check crawl spaces and basements for flooding and contact the emergency operation center at 395-4215 or the Housing Authority at 395-4370 for assistance if there is flooding.

All waterlines are operational. If service is disrupted, residents should call the EOC or Housing Authority.

The EOC is open 8 a. m. to 10 p. m. Monday through Friday, and residents can call the center at 395-5828 or 395-4215 with questions or concerns.

For after-hour emergencies people should call the Rocky Boy Police Department at 395-4513.
