Fans and community members will have an opportunity to meet all of the student-athletes at Montana State University-Northern soon.
The Holiday Village Mall, in conjunction with the Havre Lion's Club, Northern Athletics and Gary & Leo's Fresh Foods will be hosting the MSU-Northern Athlete Meet and Greet on Aug. 31 at the mall.
The event will give Northern fans young and old a chance to meet, talk to and get autographs from all their favorite Northern athletes in football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, wrestling, golf and the MSU-N rodeo teams. All sports at Northern will be represented.
"We really want to welcome these athletes to the community and tell them thank you for choosing Montana State University-Northern and Havre for their higher education," Holiday Village Mall Manager Chandra Moomey said in a press release.
The event will also feature season passes and MSU-N gear being given away through drawings to community members attending the function.
Also, Lance Johnson, Mark Peterson, Scott Young, Barry Zanto, Holiday Village Mall Merchants, JM Donoven and Western Trailer Sales have donated to a dinner for the athletes prior to the event.
