The Chinook Men’s golf league wrapped up its season on Sept. 14 with the Aero Lounge defeating Chinook Medical 41 points to 39 points in the championship match.
Aero Lounge won its fourth championship in the last five years, and it's the second time they have went back-to-back. This year, due to the weather cancelling most of the early league matches, all teams made the playoffs and set up the dual between Chinook Medical and Aero Lounge. The individual players who participated against each other and their scores are as follows for the championship match. Gerry Veis shot 79 and Tom Nicholson shot 91 with each taking 10 points in their match. Mike Seymour shot 79 and Dan Harry shot 98 with Mike taking 11.5 points and Dan taking 8.5 points. Dutch Schulte shot 94 and Karl Pula shot 100 with Dutch taking 8.5 points and Karl taking 11.5 points. Jeff Currie shot 94 and Bob Gallus shot 104 with Jeff taking 11 points and Bob taking 9 points.
