The Havre High football team is certainly back on track.Havre picked up its second straight Central A win by trouncing the Lewistown Golden Eagles 49-20 Friday night at Blue Pony Stadium. It was a happy homecoming for the Ponies, who jumped out to a 21-0 lead, then led by scores of 28-7 and 41-14 in the first half.

 

Casey Schaub was the workhorse for the Ponies, rushing for 202 yards and two scores. Ryan Brandt also scored four touchdowns, two rushing and two receiving, while Justin Jensen threw three TD passes. HHS improved to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Ponies visit Libby next weekend.
