The No.1-ranked Southern Oregon Red Raiders made it a clean sweep of Montana. One night after beating fourth-ranked UGF in Great Falls, the Raiders took out seventh-ranked Montana State University-Northern 27-18 in an NAIA wrestling dual Friday night at the MSU-Northern Fieldhouse.

The dual was closer than the final score indicated as Northern battled back from a 12-0 deficit at the start. Trailing 24-18 in the heavyweight match, the Lights needed a pain from freshman Nick King to salvage a draw, but King was beaten in a close contest by sixth-ranked Bubba Owens. MSU-N did get a pair of big pins from brothers Ethan and Evan Hinebauch. Ethan Hinebauch pinned third-ranked Derek Mastrovich at 165 pounds while Evan Hinebauch pinned Ethan Hinton at 197. Hunter Azure also earned a decision for the Lights at 141 pounds and fourth-ranked Anthony Weerheim outlasted third-ranked Kyle Wikurty in a double-vertime at 149 pounds. The Lights also forfeited at 133 pounds.
