The Havre High wrestling team made a strong statement in its first tournament of the 2011-12 season. In what was the most competitive Havre Invitational ever, the Ponies racked up 277.5 points to finish second in their own tournament Saturday at the HHS gymnasium. Only Class AA powerhouse Great Falls High scored more points than the Ponies, and HHS easily finished ahead of third-place CMR. The Ponies also out-did Class A rivals Libby and Lewistown and well as the top Class B-C program in Glasgow.
