The Annual Hi Line Lanes No-Tap gets underway this Friday at 4 p.m. There is a new twist this year with the tournament. It will be held on Friday and Saturday due to the Youth leagues on Sunday. Dates are March 2, March 3, March 9 and March 10 , and March 16 and March 17. Times starting at 4 p.m. on Fridays and 1 p.m. on Saturdays. You may bowl anytime the lanes are available. There is still a special prize list with money awarded for certain games and of course the $500 for a 292 game. Anyone wanting to bowl should call the lanes to reserve their spots.
Pee Wee bowling or Bumper Bowling will resume next Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Parents wanting their kids to join this should call Chris Drew at 262-5317 or the Lanes at 265-5885.
The Second annual Havre Youth Baseball Jackpot Bowling Fundraiser will be Saturday, April 14. More information will be reported as the date gets closer.
Every year Hi Line Lanes hosts the Special Olympics Tournament in the spring of the year. There are bowlers from Malta, to Chester and Big Sandy and Fort Belknap, Harlem, Rocky Boy and Havre. There are in need of a couple more ramps for the handicapped bowlers. Last week we ran a 50/50 during the league nights. There was tremendous support from our local keglers. However we still could use some more money. If anyone would like to donate to the good cause, they may drop a check off at the lanes or mail it to Hi Line Lanes, 1920 Hwy 2 East, Havre, Mt. 59501. It would be greatly appreciated.
