The Montana State University-Northern wrestling team will return to Havre from the 2012 NAIA national tournament with four NAIA All-Americans and a seventh-place finish. The tourney wrapped up Saturday night in Des Moines, Iowa. The Lights scored 73.5 points to finish seventh, while rival Great Falls was sixth with 91 points.

Individually, four Lights wrestled in the medal rounds Saturday afternoon, with senior Evan Hinebauch placing third at 184 pounds and fellow senior Anthony Weerheim finishing fourth at 141 pounds. Northern also got a sixth-place finish from Ethan Hinebauch at 165, while Max Payne finished eighth at 174 pounds.

Former Havre Blue Pony Myles Mazurkiewicz finished sixth at 141 pounds for Great Falls. Grand View scored 172 points to capture the NAIA national championship. Southern Oregon was second and Campbelsville was third.
