The Chinook girls tennis team got plenty of court time this past weekend. The Sugarbeeters were in Wolf Point for a dual on Friday, then played three matches Saturday in Fort Benton.
Chinook beat Wolf Point 5-1 on Friday with Katie Diemert winning 8-3, Madisen McIntosh winning 8-4, Ashton Nideregger winning 8-6 and Sabra Moon winning 8-1 in singles. The No. 2 doubles team of Alana Smith and Mariah Swank also won 8-1.
On Saturday, the Beeters defeated Boulder 6-0, Choteau 5-1 and tied Whitehall 3-3 in Fort Benton.
Against Boulder, Diemert won 6-1, McIntosh won 6-4, Niederegger won 6-3 and Alana Gunderson won 6-1 in singles. Haley Swank and Kiana Burkhartsmeyer won 7-5 at No. 1 doubles and Smith and Swank won 6-0.
Against Choteau, Diemert won 6-1, Moon won 6-3 and Niederegger won 6-1 in singles. Burkhartsmeyer and Smith won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles and Haley Swank and Mariah Swank won 6-4 at No. 2.
In the final dual of the day, against Whitehall, Diemert won 6-4 and Moon won 6-2 in singles. Haley Swank and Burkhartsmeyer won 6-2 at No.1 doubles.
The Beeters will be in Havre April 27-28 for the Chinook Invitational.
