Bob Fanning has been fighting the wolf issue since wolves were introduced and started decimating the Yellowstone elk herd.
With declining elk populations ,predators are traveling on throughout Montana and adjoining states. Depletion of game makes hunting license purchase a risky investment. The Yellowstone elk herd represents typical decline in populations reduced in 16 years from almost 20,000 to approximately 4,000, no calves now surviving. This along with complete elimination of moose and other wildlife.
We must elect Bob Fanning governor. He is unique in understanding the significance of the 1992 United Nations Rio Conference introducing Agenda 21 agendas for federal lock-down of natural resources, close-down of forests, mislabeled “protection” of oil/gas fields, and “open space” farm and ranch land grabs replacing cattle with buffalo. Rural Montana agriculture, ranching and private property ownership are targeted. Fanning is an economist well versed in financial trends and causes. He is the candidate best qualified and intensely determined to fight federal intrusions into our state, our lands, our rights. He has the training and expertise to tackle the challenges of restoring job-producing business and industry to Montana.
He and his lieutenant governor running mate, Joel Boniek, have for years worked with state leaders: Fanning has written bills for development and support of corrective wolf legislation, and Boniek is a highly respected state legislator. They are a strong, knowledgeable, accomplished team.
