The Havre North Stars American Legion baseball club hasn't played a home game since June 2.

And before the North Stars finally do take to the diamond at Legion Field on Friday night, they'll have to play two more games away from home.

Today, the North Stars are in Great Falls for a nonconference doubleheader against two Northern District rivals. The North Stars will take on the Great Falls Electrics and the Great Falls Stallions in a pair of seven-inning games starting at 1 at Don Olson Field in Great Falls.

Havre is sitting at 11-5 in district play which has the team sitting firmly in second place in the league standings.

Three of Havre's league losses came earlier this spring at the hands of the Electrics, while Havre is 4-0 against the last-place Stallions. Neither of today's games will count towards the district standings, but will go towards overall records.

Today's games will be a good tuneup for Havre's stretch run as the North Stars have 10 league games left over the next two weeks. Havre has four games with Tri-County, and a road trip to Medicine Hat still to play, as well as home games with Fort MacLeod, Vauxhall and Lethbridge.
