Eric. T. Rowlatt, 93, died July 16, 2012, in St. Petersburg, Fla., of natural causes.
Eric was born Feb. 19, 1919, in London, England, the son of Thomas and Florence Rowlatt, and the middle child of three. The family emigrated to the United States through Ellis Island and settled in Havre, Mont.
Eric married Dorthea “Peggy” Campbell in Havre in 1942. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a machinist for 43 years for the Great Northern Railroad. The couple retired to Whitefish, Mont.
Survivors include Peggy, his spouse of 69 years; son, James (Kelly) Rowlatt of Havre; daughter, Patricia (Dan) Finn of St. Petersburg, Fla. ; four grandsons, and eight great-grandchildren.
