The Montana State University-Northern volleyball team has made a habit of playing well at the Armory Gymasium. Thursday night was no different as the Skylights thumped the UM-Western Bulldogs by scores of 25-20, 25-14 and 25-15. After a tight first set, Northern dominated the rest of the way, ripping off a 13-1 in the seocnd set, and never being threatened in the third.

Hillary Iselifson led a balanced MSU-N attack with 12 kills, while Abby Nicholas and Kelsey Williams each had eight, Victoria Polo added seven kills and a block, while Joni Nagy had 31 assists and three aces.

The win gives the Skylights an 8-5 record in the Frontier Conference and a 14-14 overall record. Northern will close out its home schedule Saturday afternoon against Westminster College.
