The Havre/Hill County Preservation Commission announced that its limited-edition ornaments still are available for sale, as a fundraiser for the commission’s preservation efforts in the area.

The 2012 ornament is a representation of the Hill County Courthouse, the model selected to commemorate the county’s 100th anniversary.

Last year, the first year the commission offered commemorative ornaments for sale, the entire allotment of numbered pewter ornaments, depicting the U. S. courthouse and post office on 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue, sold out in three days. The commission got a second run of the ornament to sell later in the season.

This year’s ornaments, which sell for $20, are available at the office of the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce on 1st Street and 5th Avenue.
