Caroline F. Madden, 96, a long time resident of Havre, died Monday, May 10, 1999, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Marks Episcopal Church with Father Kenneth Green officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
Madden was born March 5, 1903, in Lamars, Iowa. She attended school there.
On Aug. 25, 1927, she married Roy E. Madden in Sioux City, Iowa. The couple then moved to Havre.
She enjoyed playing bridge. She was a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary and served as past president. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Havre Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy, and two daughters, Vivian Effinger and Joleen Taylor.
Survivors include sons, Charles Madden of Havre and Ken Madden of Glendive; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
