Agents with the Havre Sector of the United States Border Patrol and Immigration Service arrested eight undocumented aliens in Great Falls last Thursday. The June 17 bust was performed with cooperation of Great Falls Police Department officers.
Deputy Chief Ted Denning of the Havre Sector said in a news release issued Friday that the aliens were all citizens of Mexico. He said they claimed to be employed by MJM Drywall of Salt Lake City and were working at a job site in Great Falls for $70 a day.
An investigation into violations of the Immigration and Nationality act is ongoing, Denning said.
He said the aliens would be removed from the United States as early as this week.
