In Class C eight-man football action Friday, the Chester Coyotes appear to have not missed a step after last seasons state title as they blanked the Valier Panthers 49-0.
Saturday in Rudyard, the Blue Sky Eagles also picked up things after their state championship by blasting Rocky Boy 66-19.
Augusta slipped by J-I on Saturday 27-26.
Neither team could manage to get into the end zone in the first quarter, but it was Augusta who struck first in the second.
Saturday, Hays-Lodgepole took on Sunburst. The Miners got the win over the Thunderbirds 20-0.
Thursday the Big Sandy Pioneers fell to Centerville 50-0.
