The following actions were resolved in Hill County Justice Court recently. The adults listed were fined or forfeited bond in excess of $59 on criminal violations or $99 on traffic violations. Others were sentenced to jail time for their offenses or were found guilty during trials.
Edward John Krcil, 20, Billings, forfeited $170 on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). Krcil also forfeited $270 for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and $170 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richard Wade Calvert, 19, Gillette, Wyo., forfeited $270 bond on a charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Calvert also forfeited $170 on a charge of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Timothy Craig Opperman, 25, Havre, was fined $120 and given a 2-day suspended jail sentence for driving while his drivers license was suspended or revoked.
Sean Allan Moen, 26, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to have proof of liability insurance in vehicle.
Joshua LaMere, 20, Box Elder, was fined $270 for driving without having liability insurance in effect.
Sandra Lee Norquay, 43, Havre, was fined $270 for driving without proof of liability insurance coverage.
Traci LaMere, 25, Box Elder, was fined $270 on a charge of driving without proof of liability insurance coverage.
Ivan John RainingBird, 43, Box Elder, was fined $270 for driving without liability insurance coverage in effect.
Michelle Ann Billy, 38, Harlem, was fined $270 for failing to have proof of insurance in a vehicle.
Robin Roy Martell, 23, Frazer, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but two days suspended on a charge of driving while his license was suspended or revoked. Martell also was fined $270 for driving without insurance coverage.
Cora Lynn Sutherland, 30, Box Elder, was fined $270 for driving without insurance coverage in place.
Rhiannon Jael Lossing, 19, Havre, was fined $100 on a minor-in-possession of alcohol (MIP) violation.
Nichole Ann Tacke, 18, Great Falls, forfeited $100 on an MIP charge.
Roberta Denise Luke, 22, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to have proof of insurance in a vehicle.
Jodell Lee Cremer, 37, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to show proof of liability insurance protection.
Manuel Pablo Stevens, 24, Toppinish, Wash., forfeited $70 bond on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Jeremy Alan Herron, 22, Box Elder, was fined $100 on a disorderly conduct charge. Herron also was fined $100 on a charge of criminal mischief.
Eric Jerome Marshall, 41, Columbia, Md., was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but one day suspended on a disorderly conduct charge.
Antonio Mendoza, 39, Box Elder, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but four days suspended for disorderly conduct.
George Bruce Smith, 49, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to show proof of liability insurance.
Darren Ross Cline, 19, Havre, was fined $120 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kenneth Karl Komeotis, 38, Box Elder, was fined $270 and given a 2-day suspended jail sentence for driving while his license was suspended or revoked.
Jeremy Matthew Hill, 21, Tulia, Texas, was fined $320 on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Cody Lee Thompson, 21, Valier, was fined $270 for driving without having liability insurance protection in effect.
Chris Roy Cheff III, 27, Havre, was fined $270 for driving without proof of liability insurance coverage.
During the past few weeks, Judge Chagnon resolved 119 more traffic citations involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $99 each, and handled 28 additional criminal violation involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $59 each. The judge also resolved five GVW violations, two Fish, Wildlife and Parks citations, and one animal complaint.
