A 911 hang-up call to the Hill County Sheriffs Office Friday evening led to the arrest of one woman for assault and drug charges against three others.

A dispatcher received the call in which a woman was yelling shortly after 6 p.m. Friday. The caller hung up and the dispatcher traced the call.

A deputy went to the home and spoke with a man who said the woman of the house had made the call. When asked about the call, the woman reportedly denied making it and then tried to bite the deputy on the hand.

The 37-year-old woman was arrested and jailed on charges of obstructing a peace officer, assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Three other people at the residence were issued citations for unlawful possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.
