Havre Aerie and Auxiliary No. 166 will welcome Larry Sproles, worthy state president of Montana State Aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles, to a Anniversary Dinner Friday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m.

He will be attending with his wife, Nellie, who is a past state president of the Montana State Eagles Auxiliary.

The dinner will also be a fund-raiser for Big Sky Ranch, a home for girls in Glendive that is part of the Home on the Range project. Sproles has chosen the Big Sky Ranch as his special project during his term of office.

The home serves up to 12 girls ranging in age from 12 through 17, said Bryce Johnson, secretary of the Havre Aerie. It has been a project of ours for years. Its one of several projects we support.

This will be Sproless first official visit to Havre since becoming state president in June, 1999, Johnson said.

Sproles has been a member of Great Falls Aerie No. 14 for many years. He has served as chairman of numerous committees on the local and state level and has been Ritual chairman at the state level also for several years.

The cost of the lasagna dinner is $5 at the door, but those who plan to attend should call 265-9981 or 265-9551 to make reservations.

There will be a drawing for a TV during the evening and dancing to the music of Hot Shot will begin at 7:30 p.m.

All members are urged to attend.
