Samantha Jo Molenda, 16, Havre, died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999 in a vehicle accident at hospital in Great Falls.
A parish vigil service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home in Whitehall. Fathers Frank Wiegenstein, Sarsfield OSullivan and Joseph Finnegan will concelebrate the funeral mass Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. from St. Teresas Catholic Church at Whitehall. Interment will follow in the Whitehall Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 12, 1983 at Butt to Joseph and Kimberly Molenda. She lived in Cut Bank until 5 and then moved to Havre. She was home schooled until attending her freshman and sophomore years at KG High School in Gildford.
She enjoyed playing the piano. She also enjoyed watching movies, playing games and cooking. She enjoyed singing in the choir and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church at Hingham.
She is survived by her parents, Joe and Kim Molenda, Havre; a brother, Ben, Havre; grandparents, Jim and Maxine Molenda and Don and Leona Fellows, all of Whitehall, and Chet Bato, Ely, Nev.; great-grandmother, Margaret Fellows, Whitehall; fiance, Trevor Stehman, Gildford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials are preferred to the charity of the donors choice.
