Chester opened the weekend Thursday with a win over J-I, 84-27.
The Coyotes took control from the start, and led 18-2 after one quarter.
By halftime, Chester had built a 37-14 lead. In the second half, the Coyotes outscored the Rams 47-13, en route to the win.
Deven Lalum had 19 points to lead Chester, while J-Is top scorer was Angela Peek who had 17 points.
The Blue Sky Eagles flew past Valier Thursday night 53-46.
The two teams played to an 11-11 tie at the end of the first quarter.
In the second, Valier took the lead and went into the locker room with a 38-28 lead.
In the third, the Eagles started their comeback and cut the Panthers lead to 47-42.
In the fourth, Blue Sky outscored Valier 20-9 to get the win.
Cassidy Han led the way for the Eagles with 15 points.
Geraldine ripped through KG 57-44 Thursday night.
The KouGars had a 13-9 lead at the end of one, but the Tigers clawed back in the second to take a 28-24 half time lead.
Geraldine stayed strong through the rest of the game, and kept its lead for the win.
Jen Siefert led KG with 15 points.
Chelsey Kirkaldie had 34 points for the Hays-Lodgepole Thunderbirds, but it was not enough to lift them out of the reach of Box Elder, who came away with the 80-57 win in 9-C action Friday.
The Bears led at the end of the first quarter 22-14. By halftime, Box Elder had pushed its lead out to 51-32. The second half saw more even scoring, but the Bears were too far ahead for the T-Birds to recover.
The Bears leading scorer was Tami Infante, who had 18 points.
No. 1 Big Sandy beat KG on Friday with the 58-50 win over the KouGars.
KG came out strong and took a 14-10 lead after one. Big Sandy battled back, but still trailed at the half, 32-30.
At the end of three, the game was knotted-up at 40. The Pioneers showed their stuff in the fourth as they outscored KG 18-10 to pick up the victory.
Celeste Darlington led the Pioneers scoring attack with 16 points, while the KouGars were led by Kim Berg, who had 14.
The Blue Sky Eagles picked up their second win of the weekend on Friday night with a 64-59 win over Rocky Boy.
Blue Sky led after one quarter of play 13-11. By the mid-way point, the Eagles had extended their lead to 31-23. Rocky Boy stayed tough in the second half and outscored Blue Sky 22-16 in the fourth, but it was too little too late.
The Eagles were led by Katie Spicher with 17 points. For the Morning Stars, it was Natasha Stump scoring a game-high 18 points.
Blue Sky head coach Darin Hannum said he was happy that his team was finally able to pull off a pair of wins. He said his athletes played well and worked hard all season.
The Eagles shot more than 50 percent from the free throw line.
Down the stretch, we hit a lot of free throws, which helped, Hannum said.
Blue Sky has a big weekend ahead, as it squares off against Big Sandy and KG. The Eagles are in fourth place in the district and, Hannum said, they need to pick up a win this weekend to move up in the standings.
On Saturday night Big Sandy downed the Tigers of Geraldine 82-56, to stay perfect on the season.
The Pioneers took a 26-10 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back.
At the half, Big Sandy led 43-17. The Pioneers had the scoring advantage in the third, but Geraldine outscored Big Sandy 25-12 in the fourth.
The Pioneers put four players in double figures with Tiffany Jamieson leading the way with 18 points.
Chester ripped through Sunburst 76-31 in 10-C action Saturday night.
The Coyotes ran out in the first quarter to a 23-8 lead. The scoring fell the same way in the second and Chester led 45-16 at the half. The Coyotes rolled through the second half to stay perfect on the season.
Hays-Lodgepole fell to Dodson Saturday night, 71-39.
Dodson had a 22-9 lead after one quarter en route to a 40-21 halftime lead. Dodson outscored the Thunderbirds in both the third and fourth quarters to get the win.
Kirkaldie led the T-Birds with 15 points.
Heart Butte slipped past J-I on Saturday night 43-39
The Warriors took a 14-5 lead after the first quarter. The Rams cut the Heart Butte lead down to 19-12 at the half. J-I cut the Warriors lead down even further in the third, but still trailed 31-30. Heart Butte outscored J-I 12-9 in the fourth to get the win.
Angela Peek had a game high 21 points for the Rams to lead all scorers.
KG stopped Rocky Boy on Saturday night 73-32.
At the end of one quarter, KG led 13-8. The Morning Stars came back in the second to tie the game at 27-27 at the half. The KouGars came alive in the third quarter and their defense held Rocky Boy scoreless in the third and racked up 25 points. KG outscored Rocky Boy 21-5 in the fourth to get the big win.
Both Ashley Melby and Siefert had 17 points. Jaylene Small led the Morning Stars in scoring with eight points.
