A newly formed club at Montana State University-Northern will host a native round dance on campus.
Northerns Multi Cultural Coordinator Faye Red Fox said the yearling club, known as American Indian Business Leaders, will present the historic dance and open the doors for all to participate.
Red Fox said the dance is rooted in the Cree and Gros Ventre traditions, and is a good time to make new friends.
Its like a social get together for people, Red Fox said. Anyone can come to it its for people to get to know each other.
The event is open to everyone, free of charge, and will take place Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
Theyre really fun, said Red Fox, I like them because everyone has a good time.
Red Fox said a small feed will be included.
