JUNE WALSH
LIBBY June L. Walsh, 82, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at a Libby hospital.
A public gathering will be announced at a later date.
Walsh was born Sept. 29, 1917, in London, Alberta, Canada, to Loren Ezra Whipple and Metta May Knapp Whipple. The family moved to the United States in 1922, settling in Havre, where she was raised and educated.
In 1942, she married Harry Bunton.
Walsh worked as a waitress in Havre until moving to Libby in 1960. She was a resident of Libby for the past 39 years.
She married James R. Walsh in 1960. He preceded her in death in 1976.
She enjoyed the mountains surrounding Libby and the wildlife in the area.
Walsh was preceded in death by her father in 1942, her husband James R. Walsh in 1960, a brother, Buck, in 1984, and a sister, Alice, in 1999.
Survivors include sons, Jack Bunton of Spokane, Wash., Jerry Bunton of Deming, N.M., and Jim Bunton of Missoula; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Kootenai Volunteer Hospice, Libby.
