BERNICE STREETER
EUGENE Bernice A. Streeter, 86, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, of age related causes.
Services were held last week.
Streeter was born May 17, 1913, in Wessington, S.D., to Francis and Florence Smith Huestis.
On Sept. 24, 1932, she married Marion Streeter in Havre. She lived in Salem before moving to Eugene in 1961.
She was a homemaker and raised 34 foster children along with her own family. She enjoyed computers, flowers and cards. She was a member of the Living Hope Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marion; daughters, Sharon Jenkins and Delores Mord, both of Eugene; sons, Bert of Springfield and Martin of Edmonds, Wash.; a brother, Frank Huestis of Havre; sisters, Mildred Obie of Sun City, Ariz., Inez Halter of Big Sandy and Evelyn Purkett and Leona Faltrino of Havre; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Living Hope Church.
