Award winning artist Loren Kovich is Novembers featured artist in the H. Earl Clack Museum Gallery at the Heritage Center in Havre.
Kovich is a native of Glasgow and has been a finalist in the Artists Magazine painting competition and has been published in three watercolor books; Splash 4, Splash 5, and Keys to Painting Light and Shadow.
His watercolors express the light and elegant Montana landscape in a fresh and delicate manner and give true elegance to natures wonders. His specialty is light on the Montana landscape.
His paintings have been accepted and received awards in numerous nationally juried exhibitions including:
The Salmagundi Club Open Exhibiting in New York,
The American Watercolor Society in New York,
The National Watercolor Society in Los Angeles, (where Kovich won the Artists Magazine Award)
The Midwest Watercolor Society in Wisconsin, (where Kovish won the Louise Gabbert Award),
The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society National Exhibit,
The Montana Watercolor Society, (where Kovish has won numerous awards including the Gold Medal in 1988)
Kovish is a Signature Member of both the Midwest and the Montana Watercolor Societies. His paintings are represented in private and corporate collections across the United States and Canada.
All the work exhibited at the Heritage Center is for sale and Kovich also accepts commissions.
