The Havre Blue Pony wrestlers defeated the Glasgow Scotties 49-21 at a dual meet held at the Havre High School gymnasium Thursday.
Freshman Trevor Nimmick (105) pinned his opponent in 2:51 to spark the Pony wins.
"We are going to get the younger kids to work on their performances," head coach Scott Filius said.
And work they did.
Travis Velk (112) won a 10-0 major decision, while Chad Maney (125) won an 11-4 decision.
Junior Jason Cross wrestled at 140 pounds at the varsity level for the first time this season.
Cross won by pin in 1:26.
Nick Holt and K.P. Fisher, two of the veteran powers on the Pony team, both notched wins.
Holt (130) won by pin in 2:41, while Fisher won a 4-2 decision at 152 pounds.
