EVELYN FOUARGE
Evelyn L. Fouarge, 79, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Holland & Bonine Chapel with the Rev. Walt Kirkegaard officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Fouarge was born Oct. 20, 1920, north of Joplin, to Herbert and Effie (Branner) Mansfield. She attended the Grassy Butte Country School. She later moved with her family to Havre where she continued her education and graduated from Havre High School. She then attended Northern Montana College and graduated with a degree in teaching. She taught school in Kremlin and later at Box Elder.
On Sept. 3, 1949, she married Joseph Fouarge at Lovell, Wyo. She later worked as a secretary for the United States Border Patrol in Havre until retiring in 1990.
Her hobbies included visiting with people, reading, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include a brother, Lyle Mansfield of Joplin; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Mansfield of Joplin; four nephews, a niece and several great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
