FRANCES SAVAGE
Frances L. Savage, 67, Havre died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at a Havre hospital of cancer.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the American Lutheran Church in Chinook with burial following in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
Savage was born April 29, 1932, to Julius and Ella (Friede) Bosch southeast of Chinook. She attended schools at Zurich, Snake Butte and Chinook.
In 1950, she married Mark (Pete) Savage. The couple later divorced. She held various positions in the area, including the NL Ranch at Warrick, Mountain Bell Telephone, Glacier Cafe, Bear Paw Livestock and Angstman Motors.
She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, embroidering, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, having friends and neighbors for coffee, a great love for animals, especially horses, and rodeos. She also enjoyed attending country dances and spending time with her family.
She preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Melvin, Marvin and Ralph, and a nephew, Allan Bosch.
Survivors include a son, Terry Savage of Lloyd; a daughter, JoLynn Savage of Havre; a brother, Wayne Bosch of Cleveland; a sister, Fern Holmes of Chinook; sister-in-laws, Ardelle Bosch of Havre, Jean Bosch of Trout Creek; a special friend, Camia Edwards of Chinook; five nephews, seven nieces and numerous cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the Benefis Foundation (Gift of Life Housing) in Great Falls.
Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
