RAYMOND RIGGIN
Raymond R. Riggin, 72, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at a Havre care center of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
Riggin was born May 24, 1927, in Brismade, N.D., to Ranold and Mabel (Jones) Riggin. He attended schools in North Dakota. He served in the Army and the Air Force from 1945 to 1948. He was stationed in Germany.
In 1948 he married Ann Seufet in Germany. They later divorced.
Riggin enjoyed carpentry and writing poetry. He worked several years for Stuart McIntosh, a local farmer, until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, William, Ronald, and Ranold Riggin, three sisters, Donna Jean, Lois Arlene, and Eleanor Riggin.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Watkins of Havre; sons, Rick, Robert and Steve Riggin of Great Falls; a daughter, Edye Wilson of Vaughn; brothers, Dale Riggin of Great Falls and Wesley Riggin of Kalispell; sisters, Isabel Meyers of Kalispell and Helen Knote of Great Falls; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six special grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
