The following actions were resolved in Hill County Justice Court recently. The adults listed were fined or forfeited bond in excess of $59 on criminal violations or $99 on traffic violations. Others were sentenced to jail time for their offenses or were found guilty during trials.
Glenda Eagleman, 25, Box Elder, was fined $265 for failing to have proof of liability insurance in her vehicle.
Nolan R. Small, 23, Rocky Boy, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but two days suspended on a criminal trespass charge.
Curtis Onco III, 25, Havre, was fined $265 for failing to show proof of liability insurance.
Jake Joseph Brisco, 22, Havre, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but 24 hours suspended and fined $315 on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). Brisco also was fined $265 for driving without proof of liability insurance in effect.
Martin Justin Kidston, 30, Havre, was fined $265 for driving without having liability insurance protection in effect.
Ramona A. Azure, 65, Box Elder, was fined $315 and given a 10-day suspended jail sentence on a DUI per se charge.
Samuel Paul Caplette, 34, Box Elder, was fined $315 and given a 10-day suspended jail sentence for DUI per se. Caplette also was fined $265 for driving without proof of liability insurance in effect.
Chris Jason Bromlie, 25, Rocky Boy, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with five days suspended on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Rio Del Parish, 41, San Francisco, Calif., was sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but two days suspended on a criminal trespass charge.
Gary Stewart Marsh, 38, Chula Vista, Calif., was sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but two days suspended on a charge of criminal trespass to property.
Samuel Ted Descharm, 24, Box Elder, was fined $315 on a charge of reckless driving by trying to elude an officer. Descharm also was fined $315 on a DUI charge.
Ross L. Snell Jr., 42, Dodson, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but three days suspended and fined $265 for driving while his privilege to do so was revoked or suspended. Snell also was fined $265 for driving without having liability insurance protection in effect.
Mervin John Pine, 36, Great Falls, was fined $115 on a charge of obstructing a peace officer. Pine also was fined $265 and given a 10-day suspended jail sentence on a charge of misdemeanor theft.
Ivan Chester Windy Boy, 47, Rocky Boy, had a warrant for partner assault issued on April 22. The warrant carries a $120 bond for the amount of the fine that was levied against Windy Boy for the charge that was filed on Oct. 21, 1998.
During the past few weeks, Judge Chagnon resolved 42 more traffic citations involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $99 each, and handled four additional criminal violation involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $59 each. The judge also resolved three GVW violations and one bad check case.
