If youve ever seen the face of a disabled child on the back of a horse, you have an idea of how effective the Hi-Line Therapeutic Riding Associations program is.

As it saddles up for its second summer of therapeutic and recreational riding for disabled children, the association is seeking people to sponsor individual children.

The association expects to attract 20 children to its six week summer session with rides held twice weekly. Sessions begin June 8 and end Aug. 26. The cost per child per session is $20.

A therapist and three volunteers participate in the riding experience for each child.

The service is provided to children and families in Hill, Blaine and Liberty counties at the Bigger Better Barn at Hill County Fairgrounds.

Any individual or organization wishing to donate money to the self-esteem building experience for disabled children is asked to please send tax-exempt donations to Loy Chvilicek, director, at 62 Saddle Butte Dr., or Bev Inman, treasurer, at HC 30, Box 313, Havre, MT 59501.

For more information about the Hi-Line Therapeutic Riding Association, call Inman at 395-4427, Chvilicek at 265-8244, or Kathy Wood at 265-2620.
