SEQUIM, WA. Joan K. Hamon, 68, died Saturday, May 15, 1999.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood, Wash.
Hamon was born March 21, 1931, in Philbrook, Minn., to Pastor and Mrs. Noah E. Hall. She grew up in Roneby and Cleveland, Minn., Cherokee, Iowa, Gillette, Wyo., and Havre. She graduated from Havre High School in May of 1949.
On June 5, 1949, she married Alva Hamon. She attended Bible College, and became an integral part of a ministry reaching from Edmonds, Wash., to China.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael; two daughters, Shawna and Kimberly; a brother, Leland Hall; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
