MARVIN A. BERG
BOZEMAN Marvin A. Berg, 80, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999.
Berg was born May 26, 1919, in Kremlin, to August L. and Margith Berg. He grew up and attended school in Kremlin until he was 16. He then moved to Fort Assinniboine and finished high school in Havre. He went to college at Montana State College in Bozeman, earning a BS in Agronomy. He was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Berg in 1976, and a daughter, Marilyn Ferguson in 1999, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Dancock) Berg; sisters, Lillian Dove and Margaret Throckmorton of Great Falls; brothers, Art and Vern Berg of Kremlin; a daughter, Debbie Shearman of Bozeman; a son-in-law, Scott Ferguson of Busby; and seven grandchildren.
