HELEN SIMKO MARZOLF

Helen Marzolf, 83, formerly of Havre, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at a Butte care center.

Cremation has taken place. Interment was held at the Resurrection Mausoleum at the Mountain View Cemetery in Butte.

Marzolf was born Jan. 7, 1916, in Vidora, Sask., Canada, to Michael and Meri (Ebas) Simko. She moved to Chinook with her family in 1925. She later moved north east of Havre. She attended school in Canada, St. Joe Community and St. Judes in Havre.

She married George Castyk, they were later divorced. On Nov. 19, 1971, she married Norman J. Marzolf in Idaho Falls.

She attended Dahls Beauty Shop in Great Falls. She was employed for Alice and Rubys Beauty Shop for some time.

She enjoyed baking cakes and was an accomplished cake decorator.

Marzolf was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, George, and infant brother Joey, half brother, Mike Simko, sisters, Mary Hiebert Neuwerth and Sophie Clark.

Survivors include her husband, Norman J. Marzolf of Butte; a brother, John Simko; sisters, Ann P. Simko, twin sisters, Elizabeth (Liz) Wold and Margaret Green all of Havre; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Parish Center or to the donors choice.
