PHOENIX, Ariz. James L. Athearn, 82, died Monday, July 19, 1999.
Private services were held July 23, 1999.
Athearn was born Oct. 2, 1916, in Kremlin. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a resident of Havre at one time and went to school at Northern Montana University.
He married Helen Bowery of Havre.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughters, Teri Tunell and Sidney; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
